the Scenic Trails ATV Park, this ride featured live
music, crawfish, and great prizes. Sponsored by Yasky ATV, Mud and Dirt

Photos from the Jake Raborn Benefit Ride.
Little Jake was diagnosed with stage IV Hepatoblastoma in June 2004
and a ride was sponsored to raise money for medical expenses. Jake has just
gone through major surgery (Jan, 3). Just a note, Jake died in Oct of '06.
It was a sad time for all who knew the little guy. It was amazing to watch
the prayers and love extended to him and this went both ways. I think some
were blessed more by him than they blessed him. After his death his parents
were in Shreveport and stopped by one of the Riverboats to eat. They decided
to play the slots to kill some time. His Mom sat down at a progressive machine
and won a little over $4 million. She swears Jake was pulling the handle. They
have taken this money and set up a foundation to help other children with problems
similar to their son. They were so moved by the help given to them that they
wanted to help others with similar conditions. I do not think the money could
have been spent any better.

Shots
sent in by Doug Young - looks like he and his sone
were having a lot of fun. Casey and his little 2WD unit go a lot of
places some would not even try. Just goes to show you have
to know how to ride.
